We're putting you all on notice.

We have some big plans in mind for the new year. I’m giving you a tease of an update about it.

1. The Cardigan Collective is becoming more of an actual collective this year. Julie and I have opened up Pandora’s Box and decided to welcome guest writers this year. We have a friend who is a legit writer and he has agreed to do a monthly spot for us. He will teach all of you heathens about morals and us about how to write properly. My friend, Tess, has agreed to come out of retirement and write for us. She is exceptionally talented and hilarious, so I know that you will all enjoy her. We also have a friend who as shown interest in writing. She is quite talented, but we’re assholes, so we’re going to put her through the crucible. We may not be the best writers, but we will make sure that they are.
2. The Steampunk compy will be built by the spring. I’ve been teasing about it for months now, but am currently sitting next to the guts of it. Julie’s brother has agreed to help me cut windows into a case, and Julie will be helping by documenting what will either be my greatest triumph or my greatest failure.
3. The eternally lovely Jill (Mrs. Sludgeblood to all of you) has requested that we put together a Cardigan Collective bar crawl. We are not sure how we’re going to make that happen, but the lady wants a tee-shirt and we won’t deny her.
4. Julie and I promise to actually follow through with a regular writing schedule. We get lazy (the Internet just said, “I love that new motherboard smell.” This has nothing to do with this point, but it just re-affirms why I love him so much.) and that will end. Eventually. Maybe.
5. I will get Rosetta Stone to either create an Elvish language program or send me a cease and desist letter. That is my solemn oath to you all.

So there you go. We have a five-point plan for the new year. I hope you all enjoy what we have to offer and that we can step it up and make this more enjoyable for all those who have elected to dedicate any amount of time to us. It’s been swell thus far.
