About
We are two middle class, college educated women in our early twenties living in (and around) Chicago. Our lives are filled with quite the fair share of hijinks, such as proofreading public signs, attempting to overcome our unemployment and crippling goat cheese problem while doing chin-ups with the poverty line, performing the service of providing commentary to historical dramas, and interacting with a madcap cast of characters. We also have a weakness for sweaters and elbow patches.
Julie: Julie is a history major studying in downtown Chicago. She lives with her parents and their four (count ‘em four) dogs. She is a talented cook and a paragon of wit. Julie also takes an interest in well-defined eyebrows and Jess’s mom.
Jess: Jess graduated college last year with a degree she discovered that she did not want (unfortunately this discovery was made in her last semester). She is the only girl living in a small house full of large men (including her long-time boyfriend). She whiles away her time reading books and playing video games. She also has a standing D&D game which causes her to avoid making plans on Friday nights. Jess also spends about three nights a week making passes at Julie’s parents.
For the record, the picture currently in use that you can’t see very well is us on Cupcake Shake Day.
